Delete your Zyna: CBT Thought Journal account
App name: Zyna: CBT Thought Journal
Package: com.zynamind.journal
Contact: support@zynamind.com
Public URL: https://zynamind.com/delete-account
You can delete your Zyna: CBT Thought Journal account and associated server data at any time.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open Zyna: CBT Thought Journal on your device.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Data & export.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion.
You need to be signed in and online. This permanently deletes your account and synced server data (including your encrypted clinical blob, wrapped encryption keys, profile fields, and usage records). Local data on that device is also cleared as part of the flow.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the in-app option, email us from the address on your account:
Please include:
- The subject line: Delete my Zyna account
- The email address used for your Zyna: CBT Thought Journal account
We will verify the request and delete associated account data from our production systems. We aim to complete deletion requests within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days), subject to limited exceptions such as short-lived backups, legal obligations, or security logs.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove associated personal data from our production database (Google Cloud Firestore), including:
- Account and profile information
- Encrypted inbox/Reflections blob and wrapped encryption keys
- Preferences and related account records stored on our servers
What is not undone by account deletion
- Google Play subscriptions are managed separately in Google Play. Deleting your Zyna account does not automatically cancel a Play subscription. Manage or cancel billing in Google Play subscriptions.
- Data stored only on another device may remain until you clear local data or uninstall the app on that device.
